About the builders

The builders come from local Scout Groups and Air Cadets and operate under the supervision of their leaders at all times. They are ordinary young people with no special skills but they do have a common theme, a passion for aviation.

What we are going to do

The builders, backed up by the aircraft inspectors are going to build the kit in four different locations around Devon. Each group have a specific component to build, engine and cockpit section, rear fuselage and tail plane, and two wings. To see the progress that each of the groups are making go to the Builder’s Blogs. Once the components are completed they will be shipped to Tim’s workshops for fitting out and final assembly. Once the aircraft is completed and checked over it will undergo a rigorous flight test programme to confirm its airworthiness before the real business can start -
